Joseph “Zeke” Lynn Cobb, 59, of Columbiana died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born Friday, April 6, 1951, in Chilton County, son of the late Joseph O. Cobb and Margie Cobb.

He worked in construction.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Cobb of Columbiana; two daughters, Alex Cobb (Scott) Ellison of Jemison and Allison Cobb of Jemison; grandson, Dylan Ellison of Jemison; brother, Larry Cobb of Jemison; mother, Margie Cobb of Jemison; and nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Rush officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
