Ronnie C. Ellison, 65, of Jemison died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011.

He was born Friday, June 29, 1945, in Alabama, son of the late Henry Lee Ellison and the late Vernice Thomas Ellison.

He was a mechanic.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara J. Ellison of Jemison; daughter, Jada Ellison of Jemison; son, Rodney (Tara) Ellison of Jemison; grandson, Josh Acres of Jemison; four granddaughters, Amber Ellison of Jemison, Katie Ellison of Jemison, Tiffany Acres of Jemison and Molleigh Acres of Jemison; brother, Louis Ellison of Augusta, Ga.; and three sisters, Betty Northcutt of Jemison, Kaye King of Thorsby and Verlon Scohchey of Ozark.

Services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
