Jeanette Carol Royster, 72, a resident of Montgomery, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Prattville Memorial Chapel with Reverends John and Ricky Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in White Pond Cemetery.

For many years, Mrs. Royster enjoyed serving others by taking care of those who needed her assistance.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Royster; and one son, Edgar Wade Bowden.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Thornton of Verbena; one son, Joe Bowden of Montgomery; two granddaughters, Casey Thornton of Verbena and Kayla (Matt) Benson of Auburn; as well as numerous cousins, friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Feb. 1 from 6-8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Andy Boudaousquie, Larry Ramsey, Steve Benson and Tommy Maddox.
