Rita Kay Parrish, 56, of Clanton died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1954, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Herschel Parrish and the late Mary Jo Davis Parrish.

Surviving are her five uncles, J.C. (Margo) Parrish of Clanton, Arthur (Ann) Parrish of Thorsby, Earl Parrish of Clanton, Julius (Charlotte)Parrish of Maryville, Tenn. and Horace R. Davis of Lawley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel (Red) and Mary Jo Parrish; grandparents, Curtis and Nora Parrish; and grandparents, George and Lessie Davis.

Friends will be received from 2-3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 20 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 20 at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Gibson and the Rev. Tim Scott officiating.

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
