Mary Faye Ferguson, 76, of Montgomery died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at Baptist South in Montgomery.

She was born Monday, Dec. 31, 1934, in Alabama, daughter of the late William Jackson Ballard and the late Zora Bell Wyatt Ballard.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her two stepsons, Carl (Elizabeth) Ferguson of Montgomery and David (Carla) Ferguson of Wetumpka; four grandchildren, Hannah Ferguson, Haleigh Ferguson, Candice Ferguson and Courtney Ferguson; great grandchild, David Thomas Ferguson; four nephews, Larry Gonzalez of Montgomery, Charles Mims of Atlanta, Reneau Mims of Atlanta and Douglas Mims of Atlanta; niece, Sally Gonzalez of Pensacola, Fla.; and brother, Jim Ballard of Pensacola, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Ferguson; and step-son, Ray T. Ferguson.

Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Lester officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Springs Cemetery in Clanton.
