Henry W. “Jack” Friday, 88, of Clanton died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011.

He was born Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1922, in Chilton County, son of the late Robert Lee Friday and the late Ida Lee Vines Friday.

He was a surveyor.

Surviving are his daughter, Jean (James) Gray of Prattville; son, Wesley (Margie) Friday of Clanton; three grandsons, Justin (Sherry) Gray of Prattville, Ashley (Leah) Friday of Montgomery and Nathan (Kelly) Friday of Clanton; and two great granddaughters, Gracie Friday of Montgomery and Allie Friday of Montgomery.

Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 15 at 11 a.m. at Temple Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Royce Ellison and the Rev. Randal Ray officiating.

Interment will follow in Temple Assembly of God Cemetery in Clanton.
