Billie Donald Ellison, 81, of Calera, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Ellison was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Ellison; son, Ricky Ellison; and several brothers and sisters.  He is survived by three sons, Randy, Bobby and Ricky Gentry; daughter, Jayne Collum; daughter-in-law, Betty Chesteen; two sisters, Katherine Brasher, Alice Sowers; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 2 at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at the funeral home beginning at noon with Alan Broadhead officiating. Burial followed in Old Rock Springs Cemetery in Calera.
