Jeanette Graham Hand, 88, of Jemison died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born Thursday, May 25, 1922, in Blount County, daughter of the late Russell Graham and the late Ida Murphree Graham.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her four sons, Willard W. “Billy” Hand of Middleton, Texas, Ben Hand of Jemison, Paul A. Hand of Bay Minette and John J. Hand of Jemison; daughter, Loretta Kay Hand of Birmingham; 10 granddaughters; 18 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and three sisters, Ruth Carter of Pinson, Betty Wilson of Pinson and Jane Bailey of Trussville.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 30 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mt. United Methodist Church with the Rev. Willard Fredrick officiating.

Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery in Jemison. Martin Funeral Home directing.
