Funeral services for Pettus Randall Smith, 81, will be Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Verbena Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Christenson and the Rev. Tom Hyler officiating.  Burial will be in Verbena Cemetery in Verbena.

Mr. Smith died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at Chilton Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Keel Smith; sons, Randall Dwayne Smith and wife, Susan, of Marietta, Ga.; and Andrew Leman Smith and wife, Tina, of DeFuniak Springs; daughters, Tammy Rhea Smith Lett and husband, Brent; and Carol Rene Smitherman and husband, Ronald, both of Clanton; sister, Consue Morris of Birmingham; and four grandchildren, Meghan Taylor, Kelsey Smitherman, Katie Lett and Kyle Smith.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 23 from 1-3 p.m. at Verbena Baptist Church.
