New Life Worship Center is inviting everyone to come out to their Saturday Night Live-style Christmas Comedy Tour this weekend.

Hollywood actor and writer Travis Crim, whose family is from Clanton, will be leading the event and other actors from Hollywood will be helping him put on the show.

“Travis does this every year, they have been all over the Southeast doing it,” said Joan Teel, secretary for the New Life Community Church. “We’ve just been fortunate enough to be able to have them come here this time.”

The show will be held in the church’s worship center Saturday Dec. 18 through Sunday Dec. 19 and is something for the family to enjoy.

Tickets for the show are $5 in advance and $7 at the door; desserts and drinks will be provided.

“We’re hoping for a really good turnout,” said Teel. “We would love to have a full house.”

The church is located at 1618 7th Street North beside Baugh Ford in the shopping center.
