Maplesville’s girls team (0-7, 0-4) couldn’t overcome an aggressive Sunshine defense and lost, 46-36.
The visitors were quicker, getting hands in passing lanes to create steals and then easy layups.
The Red Devils stayed in striking distance throughout the game but could never trim the lead to closer than eight points.
Ebony Childers led the hosts with 16 points, and teammate Keshia Bailey scored 14 points
