Queen Esther Worthey, 77, died on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010.

Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. from Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Maplesville with the Rev. L.C. Young officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Dallas Worthey of Maplesville; children, Douglas of Maplesville, Paul (Zetherine) of Mobile, Alfonzo (Mary), Glenda of Tulsa, Okla., Lorenzo of Las Vegas, Darris of Maplesville, Greg (Chandre), Herbert (Wanda) of Montgomery and Willie Mae of Las Vegas; sister, Bertha Abercrombie of Bessemer; brother, Edward Sullivan of Maplesville; brother-in-law, Jimmie L. Worthey (Lee Anna); sister-in-law, Jessie Nell Browder, both of Maplesville; Blossie Hicks of Las Vegas; and an abundance of other relatives and friends.
