A man from Jemison died in a car wreck Nov. 26 three miles east of Columbiana, according to the Alabama Highway Patrol.

Daryl King, 47, was fatally injured in the wreck on Shelby County Road 49 at approximately 4:03 p.m. and was transported to the Shelby County Coroner’s Office.

King was driving a 2000 Mazda MPV, which was the only vehicle involved in the accident. No one else was injured.

Troopers continue to investigate the accident.
