Gary Randall Jones, 64, of Kennesaw, Ga. died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010.

He was born Thursday, Sept. 12, 1946, in Chilton County, son of the late William Jefferson Jones and Helen Gore Jones.

He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Greers Chapel Baptist Church in Kennesaw, Ga.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Litaker Jones of Kennesaw, Ga.; Mother, Helen Jones of Billingsley; sister, Mary Lou (Sam) Abney of Prattville; two brothers, Jeffery (Debbie) Jones of Clanton and Keith (Rita) Jones of Clanton; father-in-law, George A. (Toby) Litaker of White City; and six nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Jones; mother-in-law, Naomi Raines Litaker; and special friend, Stanford Hallman.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Therrel, the Rev. Ken Wilbur and friend Canster Waddell officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
