All Auburn Tiger fans are invited to show their support, help celebrate the success of the Auburn football team and cheer them on to victory over Bama.

The Chilton Auburn Club is hosting a pep rally at Clanton First United Methodist Church’s Helen Parrish Activity Center on Nov. 22.

“We’ve been hosting this event for the last 10 years,” said James Darnell, a member of the Chilton Auburn Club Board of Directors.

Along with traditional tailgate-style hotdogs and hamburgers, activities for children and adults will also be available.

There will be face paintings, bag toss games and a moon bounce for the children and Auburn trivia questions and other activities for the adults, said Darnell.

“Last year we had a little over 100 people to show up and that is usually what we plan for,” said Darnell. “This year we hope to have 150 or more. It’s a big game especially, with the publicity from Cam Newton. We hope with the pep rally being the week of Thanksgiving on that Monday that it won’t affect our attendance.”

This event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is free to all Auburn friends and family.
