Mary D. Giles, age 89, of Plantersville passed away Oct. 25, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Calvin Giles; sons, Charles William “Billy” Giles, Aubrey Wayne Giles and an infant son; parents, Lewis Oscar and Ann Margaret Dyer; and grandparents, Julius Jessie (Mary Barbara) Dubose, M.D.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Mark W. (Sarah) Giles, Leah G. (Chris) Moore; daughter-in-law, Brenda W. Giles; and a great grandson, James Christopher Moore.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 30, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Powell officiating.   Interment will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12-1 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Terry Seales, Greg Dunkin, Jeff Giles, Matthew Dunkin and Bradley Seales. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Greg, Tommy Greg, Tommy Seales and Scotty Dunkin.
