Mary Leona Cleckley Robinson, 78, of Clanton died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton.

She was born Saturday, Jan. 2, 1932, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Samuel Cleckley and the late Gladys Viola Williamson Cleckley.

She was a school support employee.

Surviving are her daughter, Allison (Dara) Norman of Clanton; two grandsons, Patrick James Norman of Clanton and Blake Ralph Norman of Clanton; aunt, Lona P. Porter of Clanton; uncle, Thomas E. Williamson of Clanton; two special friends, Geraldine Nelson, Herbert Shaw; and best friend, Chloe (her poodle).

Services will be held Friday, Oct. 8 at 11 a.m., at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jay Hurd officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
