William Rondall “Ronnie” Mims, 51, of Clanton passed away on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Stewart Webster Hospital in Richland, Ga. He requested his remains be cremated.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ross Mims and Eunice Wyatt Mims. He is survived by his wife, Penny Huckabee Mims; and step-son, Jacob Landrum of Richland, Ga.; also survived by Carol S. Wilson and sons, Brian Mims, Brandon Mims and Bradley Mims of Huntsville; sisters, Lynn (Steve) Wheat and Connie (Jacob) Fowler of Clanton; niece, Shavon Ellison of Clanton; great nephew, Joshua Shelly of Clanton; grandson, Braylyn Mims of Jemison; aunt, Sara Dean Mims of Clanton; and uncles, Bobby (Dean) Wyatt of Calera and Jimmy Culp of Jemison.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Temple Assembly of God with the Rev. Donnie Messer officiating.
