Isabella defeated both Shelby County and Chilton County in volleyball action Monday.

Playing in Clanton, IHS, ranked No. 9 in Class 2A, defeated the hosts, 2-0 (25-19, 25-23), and topped Shelby, 2-1 (22-25, 25-19, 15-9) to improve to 20-6 on the season.

Against SCHS, Amber Wyatt recorded nine kills, three aces and two blocks. Savannah Kissel had five kills and one ace, and Kaylynn Culp had four aces.

Jessica Maciel assisted on 14 points and had four aces.

In the second match, Wyatt posted nine kills, four blocks and an ace.

Kissel had three blocks, two kills and an ace. Maciel had 11 assists and three aces.
