Edith Marie Williams, 84, of Clanton died Monday, Sept. 13, 2010.
She was born on Saturday, March 6, 1926, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Joshua Henley and the late Julia Adams Henley.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her four daughters, Mrs. Nancy (Tommy) Headley of Clanton, Mrs. Carol (James) Maloy of Cussetta, Mrs. Kathryn (Larry) Jarrell of Millbrook and Ms. Tracy Williams of Cussetta; son, Mr. Larry (Mary) Williams of Seattle, Wash.; sister, Mrs. Eloise (Glen) Baugh of Rock Island, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Grady Williams, and daughter, Ms. Sharon Williams.
Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15 at Friendship Baptist Church.
Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Hopper and the Rev. Gene Hitchcock officiating.
Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
