Clanton Police make drug arrest

Approximately a quarter pound of marijuana and related drug paraphernalia was recovered during a drug arrest over Labor Day weekend.
A 20-year-old Clanton man and a teenager face drug charges after being caught with a quarter of a pound of marijuana.
Justin Wright faces felony charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 17-year-old male was also arrested.
The men were arrested around midnight Friday, Sept. 3 after being observed sitting in a parked car on First Avenue. When an officer went to check on the vehicle, he smelled the drugs.
