Chilton County’s volleyball team on Tuesday squandered an opportunity to position itself well in Class 5A, Area 6 standings.
The Tigers (2-4) lost their first two area matches of the season despite playing Brookwood and Central-Tuscaloosa at home.
Brookwood defeated CCHS, 3-2 (25-21, 23-25, 25-27, 25-22, 15-9), and Central won, 3-0 (27-25, 25-22, 15-9).
Renee Lewis recorded 16 assists and 10 blocks in the two matches combined
Rachel Johnston had nine kills and Lauren Stewart contributed 17 assists.
