Cecil T. “Paps” Killingsworth, 81, of Calera went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010.
He retired from Blue Circle Cement after 34 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Alexander Killingsworth; two sons, Steven T. Killingsworth (Joan) and Greg D. Killingsworth (Judy); three granddaughters, Joy and Ashley Killingsworth, all of Calera, and Tricia Littleton (Steven) of Jemison. Cecil is also survived by two brothers and five sisters, and numerous other family members.
Visitation was held Monday night at the 16th Street Baptist Church in Calera from 6-8 p.m. for friends.
The Funeral service was held at the church on Tuesday at 2 p.m. He lay in-state one hour prior to service. Burial followed in Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera. Officiating the services were Bro.
