Isabella volleyball coach Glen Graham earned career win No. 300 on Thursday as his Mustangs defeated Maplesville, 2-0 (25-0, 25-10).

The match was also Maplesville’s first as a varsity program.

Homestanding Isabella also topped Marbury, 2-0 (25-22, 25-17) to open its season with a 2-0 record.

“I thought, for opening night, we looked OK,” Graham said. “We have some work to do.”

Savannah Kissel recorded 13 aces and three kills in the first match of the night. Amber Wyatt had four kills.

Against Marbury, Wyatt posted nine kills, two blocks and three aces.

Kissel had four kills, two blocks and an ace, and Jessica Maciel contributed nine assists.
