Judy Jeweline Conway, 81, passed away at her home in Calera on Saturday, July 31, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Conway; her father, Ocie Hooper; her mother, Francis Hooper; and her sister, Dean Bozeman.
Judy is survived by her sister, Frances Gillie Swinson; her son, Herbert Glenn Conway (Robbie); her daughter, Sheila Hogge (Chuck); her grandchildren, Glenn “Duc” Conway (Paula), Andrew Conway (Rachel), Leah Hogge Wadkins (Kris) and Heath Hogge (Erica); and seven great-grandchildren.
Judy was a faithful servant of Providence Baptist Church No. 1 where she was treasurer for 50 years.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Montevallo with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. She will lie in state from 10-11 a.m. the day of the service.
