Sue C. Thomas

Sue C. Thomas, 70, of Billingsley died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born on Friday, August 25, 1939, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Winston Culp and the late Mary Chasteen Culp.
She was a secretary.
Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Thomas of Billingsley; daughter, Kimala S. (George) Edwards of Billingsley; two sons, Daniel (Sarah) Thomas of Montevallo and David C. (Alison) Thomas of Calera; grandchildren, Brady and Brooklyn Edwards, and Ky and Collier Thomas; sister, Judeen Ellison of Clanton; and brother, John Culp of Florence.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 16 at Mt. Nebo Methodist Church.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17 at Mt. Nebo Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Popwell and the Rev. Jody Hill officiating.
Interment followed in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Billingsley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to Mt. Nebo Methodist Church or The American Cancer Society.
