Norman L. King, age 57, of Clanton, recently of Mountain Brook, passed away July 13, 2010.

Norm was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Norm and long-time friend and business partner, Bill Emanuel, started working together in 1974 and currently own Alaplex Transportation Inc.

Norm is survived by his wife, Paula Annette Osborn King; daughters, Cari King Suggs, Karin Payton (Bradley) and Lisa King; son, Norman Adam King; mother, Beverley King; brothers, Jack King Jr. and James David King (Elizabeth); and sister, Linda King; and was preceded in death by his father, Jack King Sr.

Visitation will be held at noon Friday, July 16, at Mountain Brook Baptist Church. Memorial Service will follow at 1 p.m.
