Era Easterling

Era Odell Easterling, 81, of Clanton died Sunday, June 27, 2010, at University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham.
She was born Sunday, Dec. 16, 1928, in Sylacauga, daughter of the late William Ricks and the late Maud Rogers Ricks.
She was a packer for Keystone Metal Molding.
Surviving are her son, Jimmy L. (Dot) Jones of Clanton; daughter, Debbie (Butch) Kimble of Helena; sister, Mildred Mask of Sylacauga; three stepsons, Ray (Linda) Easterling of Alabaster, Edward (Diane) Easterling of Clanton and Howell (Connie) Easterling of Mobile; granddaughter, Tonya (Mike) Williams of Clanton; grandson, Timmy Jones of Clanton; eight step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and 10 step great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 29 Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. at Bell Lane Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Powell, the Rev. Ken Chandler and the Rev. Mark Seales officiating.
Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
