Marcelene Annie Ginn, age 81, of Leavittsburg, Ohio, died Monday, May 31, 2010, at 5:30 a.m. at her home. She was born Nov. 3, 1928, in Tallassee, the daughter of the late Johnny and Annie Ellison Partridge.
Marcelene was a homemaker and also worked for short periods of time at United Telephone/Sprint for six years and at Packard Electric for 12 years. She enjoyed reading, fishing, bingo and playing the lottery.
Survivors include her children, Johnny L. (Jerrie) Ginn of Salem, Va., Ramona “Mona” (Edward) Valley of Lordstown and Tamatha “Tami” Ginn of Leavittsburg; her grandchildren, Danielle L. Ginn and Kelsey N. Ginn; and her brother, John Partridge of Fort Myers, Fla.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Jacob Ginn on April 17, 2007; they were married on Aug. 5, 1950; two sisters, Virginia Clecker and Faye Key; and two brothers, Ralph and Oneil Partridge.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, June 4 at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where family and friends may visit on Thursday evening from 5-7. Pastor Byron E. Powers will officiate the service. Burial will be in Meadow Brook Memorial Park in Warren, Ohio.
