Sixteen years ago, Robbie Jones of Maplesville and Scott Moates of Chilton County, both third basemen, were the local representatives in the regional East/Wet Baseball event played at Clanton’s Jack Hayes Field. Maplesville’s Mike Blair was one of the coaches for the games.
