Stanley Ray Meadows, age 62, of Millbrook, formerly of Maytown, passed away Friday, May 14, 2010.
He was retired from Diversified Elevator and Equipment Company in Millbrook. He was a veteran with the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Intrepid during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Michael.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Meadows; daughter, Christen; step-daughter, Debera; parents, Stanley Q. and Betty Meadows; sister, Alice Faye Smith; and granddaughters, Ceirra and Chole; nephews, Thomas Key, Jason Smith and Shannon Meadows.
Funeral services will be held at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home Wednesday, May 25 at 2:30 p.m. with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:30-2 p.m.
