Walter James “Jim” Fine, 70, of Clanton died Friday, May 7, 2010, at Chandler Health & Rehab in Alabaster.
He was born Friday, Aug. 11, 1939, in Chicago, son of the late Bonnie Fine and the late Evaline Fine.
He was a mechanic.
Surviving are his son, Robert Fine of Clanton; three daughters, Robin Smith of Clanton, Tammy Easterling of Clanton and Pamela Heath of Birmingham; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Wallace Fine of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable B. Fine; and parents, Bonnie and Evaline Fine.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Sunday, May 9 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 10 at 2 p.m. at New Hope Assembly of God in Maplesville with the Rev. Charles Brooks officiating.
