Peach Pageant orientation was held Sunday afternoon at the Helen E. Parrish Activity Center of Clanton First United Methodist Church.

Contestants signed up for one of four categories — Little Miss Peach, Young Miss Peach, Junior Miss Peach, and Miss Peach. The total number of contestants will be announced later this week.

Tentative dates and times for the 2010 Peach Pageants are as follows. All will be held in the Chilton County High School auditorium:

Little Miss Peach: Saturday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m.

Young Miss Peach: Monday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m.

Junior Miss Peach: Tuesday, June 22 at 6:30 p.m.

Miss Peach dress rehearsal: Wednesday, June 23 at 6 p.m.

Miss Peach Pageant: Thursday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m.
