Ann Hardy Carden, 61, of Clanton died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Friday, Feb. 4, 1949, in Shelby County, daughter of the late Ford Hardy and Audrey Gothard Hardy.
She was a chief appraiser for the Chilton County Assessor’s Office.
Surviving are her husband, Mr. Rick Carden of Clanton; daughter, Mrs. Paige Nelson (Steven) Green of Clanton; son, Mr. Leighton Nelson of Montgomery; two daughters by marriage, Mrs. Casey Carden (Jeff) Tatum of Thorsby and Ms. Crystal Carden of Clanton; three granddaughters, Miss Avery Powell of Clanton, Miss Carlisle Green of Clanton and Miss Aerin Tatum of Thorsby; grandson, Master Alex Tatum of Thorsby; mother, Mrs. Audrey Gothard (Raymond) Cox of Clanton; two sisters, Mrs. Janice Hardy Isley of Clanton and Mrs. Brenda Hardy (Joseph) Moore of Johns Creek, Ga.; nephew, Mr. Craig (Constance) Isley of Montevallo; and niece, Miss Kelsey Moore of Johns Creek, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ford Hardy.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2010.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 27 at 2 p.m. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with the Rev. Von McQueen officiating.
Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery.
