Steven Lynn Mims, 43, of Clanton died Thursday, April 22, 2010.
He was born Saturday, July 9, 1966, in Chilton County, son of Eugene Mims and Willodean Minor Mims.
He was a carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Mims of Clanton; daughter, Crystal Griffin of Clanton; granddaughter, Lillian Griffin of Clanton; parents, Eugene and Willodean Mims of Clanton; sister, Cynthia Connell of Clanton; two brothers, Barney Mims of Clanton and Larry Minor of Clanton.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Ann Cleckler.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, April 26.
Services will be held Monday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at Refuge Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug West and the Rev. Charles Brooks officiating.
Interment will follow in Refuge Baptist Cemetery.
