Maplesville tops Thorsby in three
Courtney Killingsworth allowed one or fewer hits for the fourth time in five games as Maplesville defeated Thorsby, 15-0, in three innings on Thursday.
Sharonda Cooper recorded Thorsby’s hit with a bunt single.
Killingsworth also walked only one and went 3-for-3 at the plate.
Maplesville scored six runs in the first inning, seven in the second and two in the third to end it early.
Katlyn Freeman, Kortisha Morrow, Morgan Little and Kiana Andrews each went 2-for-3 at the plate.
Maplesville improves to 15-7 on the year with the win.
