Frances “Fran” Baker

Frances “Fran” Stegall Baker, 71, of 714 Hudson Road, wife of Howard E. Baker, died Thursday, April 15, 2010, at her residence.

She was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Cody Baker and wife, Kemmerlin, of Charleston and Richard Brock and wife, Stephanie, of Greenville; a daughter, Kimberly Brock of Greenville; three stepsons, William S. Baker of Laurens, Howard E. Baker Jr. and Michael A. Baker, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Tom Stegall of Easley; and four sisters, Ann Armstrong of Easley, Dot Holliday of Easley, Marion “Mack” Johnson of Greenville and Rose Bryant of Easley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Clanton.
