Chilton County’s softball team defeated Demopolis, 11-1, in five innings on Tuesday in an important area contest.

Brianna Cleckler was the winning pitcher, allowing two hits, and also went 2-for-2 with a home run and a walk at the plate.

Lauren Stewart went 2-for-3 for CCHS (14-14, 3-0 area).

The Tigers recorded seven hits in all and committed no errors.
