Dorothy Marie Mims Lockhart, 75, of Clanton died Saturday, April 10, 2010.
She was born Thursday, Jan. 17, 1935, in Chilton County, daughter of the late James William Mims and the late Charlotte Mims.
She was a greeter at Walmart.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Warren of Clanton; three grandsons, Shane (Robin) Lockhart of Clanton, Ray (Jodi) Stevens of Pontotoc, Miss. and Brandon (Megan) Warren of Clanton; great-grandson, Blake Lockhart of Clanton; great-granddaughter, Teegan Warren of Clanton; great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Hailey and Jeffery Stevens of Pontotoc, Miss.; great-granddog, Kokomo; and two sisters, Myrtle Cleckler of Clanton and Lucille Johnson of Clanton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Lockhart; and son, Alton Lockhart.
Services were held Monday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Messer, the Rev. Charles Brooks and the Rev. Brent Collins officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery located in Clanton.
