Six years ago, Ryan Ellison broke the Class 1A career strikeout record, and the Isabella baseball team clinched the area championship in the same game, a 5-1 win over Thorsby. Ellison struck out 12 Rebels and still had three regular season games plus the playoffs left to add to his record.
