Killingsworth again almost unhittable
For the second consecutive game, Maplesville softball pitcher Courtney Killingsworth allowed only one hit, and the Red Devils defeated Verbena, 16-1, on Tuesday in five innings.
Killingsworth struck out nine and walked two, and she was also 3-for-5 at the plate.
Lindy Barrett went 4-for-4, and both Bayne Edwards and Brooke Bell went 2-for-4.
