Richard Stuart Gilliam, 71, of Clanton died Saturday, April 3, 2010.
He was born Wednesday, July 27, 1938, in Arizona, son of the late Stuart Gilliam and the late Willie Mae Brown Gilliam.
He was a retired coach and teacher.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ola Faye Gilliam of Clanton; son, Mr. John Stuart (Danielle) Gilliam of Fairhope; daughter, Mrs. Leisl G. (Kurt) Lemire of Daphne; grandchildren, Luke, John Pierce and Alyssa Lemire; and Jackson, Elijah and Jacob Gilliam; sister, Barbara Keith of McDonough, Ga.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 6 at West End Baptist Church in Clanton.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 7 at 2 p.m. at West End Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating.
Interment will follow in Floyd Baptist Cemetery in Verbena.
Family will receive flowers, or donations may be made to West End Baptist Building Fund.
