Mary Traylor Rudd, 74, of Sylacauga died Friday, March 19, 2010, at Coosa Valley Medical in Sylacauga.
She was born Saturday, March 30, 1935, in Georgia, daughter of the late Bill Traylor and the late Annie Bea Williams Traylor.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Mr. James D. Rudd Sr. of Sylacauga; son, Mr. James D. “Jaime” Rudd Jr. of Sylacauga; daughter, Mrs. Amanda Rudd Martin of Clanton; brother, Mr. Don Traylor of Jacksonville, Fla.; granddaughter, Ms. Bevin Hawkins of Clanton; four grandsons, Mr. Daniel Rudd of Sylacauga, Mr. Max Martin of Clanton, Mr. Avery Lowery of Bessemer and Mr. Bryan McGinnis of Sylacauga.
Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, March 23 at Curtis & Sons Funeral Home in Sylacauga.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 23 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Pearson officiating.
Her joys in life were taking care of her family and her beloved chihuahua, Booger. Special thanks to the Coosa Valley Medical Center staff and everyone at Alacare Hospice. Also, thanks to Dr. Crow and his staff.
