Thresa Gay Davis of Stanton died Friday, March 19, 2010.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Raspberry officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Stanton. Martin Funeral Home directing.

A retired schoolteacher, she enjoyed traveling the world and reading. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed every second she had with them.

She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert E. Gay and Jack G. Davis.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Robert Wesley Gregg and Russell (Penny) Gregg; four great-grandchildren, Amy Gregg Freeman (Jay), Harley Gregg, Ethan Gregg and Benton Gregg; two great-great grandchildren, Katlyn and Coley Freeman; and one daughter, Bobby Gay Gregg.
