Raymond Jones Allen, 79, of Prattville died Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
He was born Monday, June 9, 1930, in Autauga County, son of the late Archie Allen and the late Mary Lamar Allen.
He was an assembly worker.
Surviving are his wife, Hilder Allen of Prattville; daughter, Pam (Danny) Blalock of Helena; son, Keith Allen of Prattville; grandson, Jeremy (Celeste) Blalock of Helena; great-granddaughter, Makenzie Blalock of Helena; great-grandson, Peyton Blalock of Helena; brothers, Lamar (Margaret) Allen of Prattville, Carroll Allen of Prattville and Gordon (Patsy) Allen of Prattville; and sister, Margaret (Torrance) Eaton of Mulga.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 17 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Thursday, March 18 at 1 p.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Brad Eubank and the Rev. Doug Orr officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery in Billingsley.
