CCHS wins at Tallassee
Chilton County soccer coach Dan Velasquez gave much of the credit of Tuesday’s 4-1 win at Tallassee to his defense.
“They worked their heads off,” Velasquez said. “They were playing tough.”
Stephen Johnson, Alejandro Romero and Scotty Webb each scored a goal for CCHS (2-2), and the Tigers also got one goal off the foot of a Tallassee player.
Anthony Johnson had three assists, and Noe Chavez had one.
Casey Brand recorded 11 saves.
