CCHS girls drop first ever match

The Chilton County girls tennis team on Monday played the first match in program history, falling to Wetumpka, 9-0.
The CCHS boys fared better, defeating the visitors 5-4.
Singles winners included Michael Elder, Nicholas Lyn and Rett Russell.
Doubles winners were the combinations of Elder and Lyn, and Russell and Chase Baker.
