Patsy Headley

Patsy Marie Headley, 71, of Verbena died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at UAB in Birmingham.

She was born Wednesday, April 20, 1938, in Wise County, Va., daughter of the late Clarence Hall and the late Edna Grier Hall.

She was the owner of Patsy’s Kitchen in Marbury. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to everyone in the community.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas “Joe” Headley of Verbena; three daughters, Myra (Jim) Tillery of Deatsville, Theresa (Alvin) McCaffety of Deatsville and Leslie (Juan) Sosa of Marbury; two sons, Lee (Sheila) James of Deatsville and Michael Headley of Montgomery; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Hall of Monks Corner, S.C., and Ernest Hall of Toledo, Ohio; and sister, Joyce Milton of St. Paul, Va.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Marbury Church of God Cemetery in Marbury.
