Missed free throws cost Billingsley chance at upset

Billingsley on Friday made only 14 free throws in 37 attempts during a 69-42 loss to host Autaugaville in the Class 1A, Area 6 tournament.
The Bears were down 12 points at the half, having missed enough shots from the charity stripe to have a lead.
Autaugaville pulled away in the third period with accurate shooting from behind the 3-point line.
Raphael Brooks led Billingsley with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
A.J. Tyus added eight points and six rebounds.
