Dewey “Buster” Curry

Dewey Wilson “Buster” Curry, 91, of Crestwood, Ky. (formerly of Clanton) died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Baptist East Hospital, Louisville, Ky.
He was born Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1919, in Dadeville, son of the late Albert Curry and the late Donie Farrow Curry.
He was Retired from USAF as a Tech Sergeant; Taught flight by radio and instruments, intelligence, photo reconnaissance, and finish in link trainers. Also, retired from Alabama Power Co. after 40 years as a plant operator.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Joiner Curry of Crestwood, Ky.; son, Dwayne (Jeanie) Curry of Crestwood; grandson, Keegan Curry of Crestwood; and granddaughter, Kia Curry of Crestwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Albert and Donie Curry, and sisters; Vivian Turner and Mandy Danielson.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4 and 1-3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 5 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Friday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Hester officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
